【摘要】 清末民初之际,由于影响翻译的诸多历史情境发生了深刻的变化,翻译的选择取向也随之改变,表现为各种带有近现代性质的学术文化倍受推崇;另外,清政府实施的教育改革更是在客观上为西方心理学的译介提供了条件。当然,心理学的引进也是基于翻译者自身对该学科的价值取向和判断。因此,此时的翻译活动是翻译主体意识彰显的一种体现。就翻译主体而言,清末民初时期完成了由传教士向以留学生为主体的国人新知识分子的转变。
